The Challenge:

Kolor (Kolor Ltd.) is a Bulgarian family company, founded in 1989year, holding leading positions in the trade of construction and repair materials. In 2022, the company focused on developing its online business.

The client’s goal was to establish the brand on the Bulgarian market, re-position it to attract a wider audience, and increase the share of online sales. The challenge for us was the enormous product portfolio, some of which were difficult to sell online, and the limited advertising budget.

How did we approach it?

A holistic strategy focused on sales

We used a holistic approach and developed a strategy for online sales growth. It focused on the most profitable product categories aimed at the end user. We defined the ideal persona and relied on the experience of major players in the market. We started with regular PPC campaigns, mainly in the Meta ecosystem (Facebook & Instagram), aimed at both increasing traffic to the site and conversions.

Content optimization and SEO growth

We made numerous recommendations to improve the presentation of the products on the site. We optimized them both textually and visually, with the aim of better organic positioning. We developed the blog section, which focused attention on important topics related to repair and construction, the choice of furniture for furnishing, etc. We used the most searched keywords on the relevant topics, which seriously contributed to increasing organic traffic and sales.

Data, experiments and scaling

We set clear and precise indicators (KPIs – Key Performance Indicators) to monitor the set goals. A large part of the success with Kolor was due to the correct selection of product categories. With them, we conducted numerous experiments with different PPC campaigns, tested different creative solutions and scaled the most successful ones.

New visual identity

The entire strategy also required the company to declare its new face, so it was not long before we proposed a logo redesign that would embody the company’s history and heritage, combined with a modern, clean sound. Along with this, we also developed rules for applying the logo to various digital and physical materials to promote the brand.

Visual experience and ongoing support

Soon after, we completely redesigned the home page of the online store. This way, we were able to improve the customer experience and provide a modern visual representation of the new strategy and brand positioning. Every month, the agency team creates visualizations of product highlights – banners for the site, branding of various materials and visions for current campaigns.
